I was given boys for a reason..

OK, so we all know boys find toilet humour very funny. You just don't expect it to start so young. Older boy had finished his dinner and I was still feeding younger boy. Older boy went and took himself for a wee on the potty.

I tell him he's a good boy and out the corner of my eye I see him come tottering in with his trousers round his ankles.

I wonder what on earth he is doing so I wait for him to come into the dining room and he is laughing with his pants pulled up as far as he can get them with his willy poking out the leg hole of his pants.

Trying not to laugh I tell him to stop being silly then I notice that younger boy (who I might add is not quite one) is laughing so hard he's almost crying. Still trying not to laugh I tell him to put his willy away and smiling he does.

He then continues to let out a huge fart.

By now younger boy can hardly contain himself and older boy is so proud of himself for making his brother laugh.

My sons are so funny. I was defiantly given boys for a good reason!!

Bogies

I am resident bogie collector. If a bogie is up someone's nose or on someone's finger it's my job to remove it. Little people are incapable of doing this themselves for some reason.

So here we go, I'm collecting a bogie as I do on a daily basis

I say "thank you" and take the bogie from him him. I start looking, this isn't a normal bogie..

He's been potty trained for a while now and he does like to have him hands in his pants a lot so I nervously ask him where this bogie has come from. Fearing the worst he happily exclaims...

UGH!!

Every Saturday

Every Saturday I start off with the best intentions of cleaning the house top to bottom. Tidy up, clean the bathroom, vacuum every room, empty the bins, change the cat litter etc etc (you get the idea)

What I don't understand is why 2 seconds after I finish the house looks like this again

Sometimes I wonder why I bother!!

Willies

Older boy has now got some new fascination with willies. Or the lack of with girls I should say. We were at play group a couple of weeks ago when one of the mums took her daughter to the toilet. Older boy went to help (watch) and when she came out this happened

I'm glad everyone thought it was funny.

Toilet visits

I know, it's not something people really want to talk about but I'd love to go to the toilet without an audience. One of the things you don't know your going to have to do before you become a mum.

How I go to the toilet

Or

And at the weekend when Daddy is around to watch the children

But what I don't understand is why Daddy still gets away with this

I love my son but..

So we were going somewhere the other day when older boy comes for a cuddle..

I do think this is too good to be true, wondering what he might say next "I wub you" or maybe "Nice tuddle" but no. Gently stroking my top lip he says this...

It's a good job a mothers love in unconditional!!!

My family

Ok, I've been sucked into mummy blogging so I've decided to use my artistic talent to illustrate my blog.

First I would like to say how much I love crappy pictures where I totally got my inspiration from.

So, for my first post I'd like to introduce my family. For the purposes of this blog this is what we will look like:

We are Daddy, Mummy, older boy, younger boy, black cat and brown cat. As you can tell we are perfect in every way.

But for anyone who knows us this is what we really look like:

But as that isn't pretty that's not what we'll look like :-)

I'm going to be blogging about the every day goings on in my life and just hope that I'm not the only person this happens too!!

I've been a mummy for nearly 3 years now so have already passed a few gems in my life like having a new born in the house, being a working mum, getting pregnant the second time, introducing a sibling to older boy, a year of a baby and a toddler in the house, my decision to be a stay at home mum, older boys speech delays (he's fine now!) and potty training!! Well with (as of the start of this blog) having an almost 3 year old and almost 1 year old I start this blog and hope I don't offend anyone but you all enjoy my humour!
